We just came back from a week in Virginia to attend VEDP’s Conference on World Trade, and meet with lots of companies interested in Mexico!
Neighbors met with around 20 companies over three days who provide products and services in IT, chemistry and biochem, aviation, security and medical aids, among others. We also had the privilege of speaking on a panel with Impact Communications of Vancouver and the two experienced Virginia exporters, IMTS and BondCote Corporation, on Landing Sales in North America.
Our panel auspiciously followed the (marvelous) keynote speaker of the event, former Mexican Ambassador to the US Arturo Sarukhan, who spoke on how and why NAFTA should be updated and cross-border cooperation optimized to harness the full value that Mexico, the US and Canada working together can add to global trade channels.
Neighbors talking about Mexico on a panel discussion about NAFTA that Arturo Sarukhan watched 🙂
