In 1998, when she began college in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Cynthia began working in industrial plant operations, which she continued after completing her undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Quality Control from U. Morelos at Cuernavaca. She has worked in the Mexican publishing industry in the administrative and foreign trade area for thirteen years, as well as in international book sales and distribution.

From 2004-2005 she did her master’s degree in International Business in Madrid on a scholarship from the European Commission, at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Returning to Mexico, she began working in international book sales and distribution, she has currently completed her doctoral thesis in anthropology: Indigenous Language Publications, a Bridge between Cultures.

Mary Claire moved to Mexico City from the US in 2009 and not long after became an in-market consultant for the Ontario, Canada Ministry of Economic Development. She started Neighbors in 2013. Prior to Mexico, she worked in advertising, at the Martin Agency in Richmond, Virginia, supporting brands like Alltel, UPS, Burts Bees and Thomasville Furniture.

Her undergraduate degree in English and Government is from the College of William and Mary (2003), and she completed a Master of Arts degree from the Queens University Belfast in 2006. Since 2016, Mary Claire has mentored startups in fintech, clean energy, and telecom connectivity, at Mass Challenge Mexico City. A former US Air Force brat, she has Mexican permanent resident status.

Enthused by exploring how organizations are shaped by the people, policy, strategy, operations, and processes with a proven track record providing clients with effective advisory on complex issues.

Passionate about meeting new people and getting to know new places and cultures. Mexican licensed lawyer with practice areas in corporate, telecommunications law as well as anti-corruption including US FCPA. UDLA Puebla Bachelors in Law (2007) and Tec de Monterrey MBA (2015). A Puebla native, Rodrigo is now based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Miriam has two decades of professional trade promotion experience. She graduated from UNAM (1998) with a degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in Marketing (2002). Her areas of expertise include marketing, consulting, event organization, business matchmaking and research. When she worked for the Embassy of Korea in Mexico’s trade promotion office, she was recognized with the best performance in Latin America and the Caribbean on two different occasions.

She has particularly extensive experience promoting international companies in the medical device, pharmaceutical, machinery and consumer products industries, standing out for being persistent, curious and proactive. Currently, she is focused on market and product research, potential partner relations and trade mission organization. In 2021, she also joined Siete Amorfos, and audiovisual production company, as Head Operations Director.
